No. Bond It, Weave It, Own It™ has been designed to take you from complete beginner to professionally qualified. You do not need any previous extension experience. A background in hair or beauty is helpful but not required.
You will have 6 months access to all course materials. Learn at your own pace and revisit any module whenever you need a refresher, whether that is before your first client appointment or five months down the line.
A full kit list is provided at the start of the course. Module one covers exactly what you need for both methods, where to source it and what to look for when choosing products and tools so you are not spending money on things you do not need. Kit not included in the price of the course.
Yes. On successful completion of the course and assessment you will receive a fully accredited ABT certificate from The Luca Gabrielle Academy. This can be used to apply for insurance, work in professional salon environments and offer both LA Weave and Nano Bond extensions as qualified services.
To complete your practical assessment, you will first practise your techniques on a mannequin head, as outlined in your Starter Kit Guide, where you’ll also find links to purchase the recommended equipment.
As you are not insured to work on live clients until you have obtained student insurance, all initial practical training should be completed on a mannequin head.
Once you have successfully completed the course, you can apply for student insurance and begin your practical case studies on two live models.
After your case studies have been submitted and approved, you will receive your fully accredited certificate, allowing you to begin offering professional hair extension services.
